Hi
I used parmurex yesterday for the first time and could do with some help....

I'm handballing with 5 mm base of parmurex with mesh embedded mixed with lankolatex then 5 mm without lankolatex.
I had trouble with spatting it just kept tearing and dragging.
I ended up waiting for it to go off then spent an age sponge floating. It's gone ok but I've got another 100 m2 to do.

I need a nice close finish to take a thin coat 1.5 mm grain.

Any help would be greatly appreciated
Cheers
Joe

As above but timing is paramount.

Sounds like you are taking too long and its skinning. It can be a bit like chewing gum. I prefer to spat it soon as I can.

Same as above really.
We just done 200m on a house.
We ended up priming with micro, then we put a base coat on about 10mm with full mesh as bricks weren't the best.
We scratched the whole house then started with a 5-8mmish top coat.
We topped the last bit about 10 days after the scratch with the weather we had. Some went quick some went slow.
I know it can be sprayed in one coat but have had micro cracking before and didn't want to risk it as was being painted.
Never been much a fan of OCR's to be honest but it beats traditional sand and cement.
