Hi,
I'm new to plastering. Just had minimum training really to get stuck in to some DIY at first. 4 days but loved it. I'm aware I've got a lot to learn.
I'm assembling a collection of tools. I was recommended a Spear and Jackson Tyzack trowel as it is pre-worn and is a bit cheaper than the Marshaltown. I thought I'd get a 11 inch because that's what we used on the course (have since been advised to get a 13 inch...).
Anyway, I ordered the trowel online and my question is, should the trowel be bent? I don't mean concave across it's width (expected, right?), I mean convex across it's length.
I've attached some photos...
Cheers,
Al.
