Would appreciate some advice on which render to use for a SIP with oak frame. It’s 10 years old with lime/sand mix render on woodwool boards, but it’s cracking, corners breaking off and most elevations have been patched up by previous owner. Concerned that just replacing it with another lime render will end up with the same result. Want a render that doesn’t crack and presume the SIPs need something breathable.

There are plenty of good lime systems around if that is what you still want to achieve.
