Stone cottage with failing wet dash, which is getting hacked off.
most probably granite Stonework or as hard as granite.

Customer has ask for k rend wet dash, I have never use the k lime products before and I am for advice.

I spoke to k rend themselves in Ireland, they've sent the specs for their lime products.

K rend roughcast

Has anyone used k rend lime, do I actually need to use all them products?

will be fully refurbished,
New roof, vented soffits, new vented windows, new extension (kit frame build) 8m x 5m.

I understand that the building needs to breath with being so old but with the full refurbishment could there be a product change from lime based products?

Use Fassa they do loads of systems for stone and lime ,have used parex lime before but fassa is far better and you can buy of the shelf s650 for a key followed by kb13 for a full lime system and good prices ,if you need anymore info just let me know.

depends what finish you want to offer.
traditional float and sponge. ( i use fassa or best of lime personally.)

trowelled finish again best of lime for that.

Hi dan
Yeah I just looked on them website that you recommend, they look really good.

I will be hitting them a email about their products.

I will be giving the customer the option of a smooth cottage, but all depends on the budget.
There cottage is 160sqm in total, plus 10sqm for extension as that's all steel and timber with a little bit off block work.

Incorporated mesh in it - over lathes and adjoining masonry.

Customer lime wash finished it afterwards to stay proper breathable.
