Hi Everyone,
:RpS_biggrin:Hope all is well?
For those of us not lucky enough to have taken on such an apprenticeship at 16?
I was curious how many changed their career and trade to become plasterers etc?
As someone who is facing having to look at a career change for the future i wondered if others also started these trades later and therefore not timeserved?:RpS_scared:
Not sure if many would admit to it or just suddenly had a mid life crisis and a fetish for shiny tools and a shed?:RpS_blushing:
Would people advise being multi talented with other skills like tiling, bricklaying and basic plumbing etc to be able to do bathrooms and kitchens or do people generally just stick to one skill and moan about all the rest?:RpS_cursing:
Having fun reading all the threads, especially about the bodge jobs and bad customers!
Have fun replying to these questions?
Thanks again.

Always good to have many skills but it would take a lifetime to master all of them I think trades should be kept seperate to keep things specialist I've done nothing else since leaving school and as much as I winge at times I still love my job I reckon that's important :RpS_thumbup:

Anyone who is always spotless and clean, organised, punctual, uses lists for everything in my experience has had a previous job to plastering or the building game in general.
