all right mate,, you've already got over 60 years experience you can turn to just from the first two people to say hi,, lol

Lol! Thanks guys ;) I have a quick question regarding angle beads, say for example I come across a job which has old plastered walls and I need to put on new angle beads... Whats the best way to put these on ? I see some people have different ways of doing it? Any help would be great.

Hello kris and welcome to the forum mate, generally I staple my beads whenever possible.
But there's many ways to skin a cat, some of the more eccentric members on here favour amongst other things, drawing pins, blu tack, sellotape or even hubba bubba.
:)
And apparently pritt stick is quite good as it can also be used for sticking up scrim.

Cheers guys ;) might give the hubba bubba a try scottie 5 lol.

I prefer the steel beads on over skimm as they are easyer to keep straight if the corner is a bit pissed and just use multi to stick em on and a nail here and there to keep it in place.
Welcome to the jungle!

Same Deri, stick them on with multi. Heard sumbody say they stick them down with bonding coat before they skim... Never tried it but surely you would end up with rounded corners? Suppose everybody has their way of plastering. ;)

depending how hard the walls are i either stick them up with multi or nail them up with small board nails

Bonding doesn't stick to the beads as well as multi you can set them if your doing a tight coat but they tend to.fall off if.you use.bonding.on existing substrates, I staple or screw plasterboard walls and use multi for reskims

Im from ayr m8. What about yourself? Noticed a few buddie lol.
