Hi All

Sorry to say we've gone a bit quiet on the Forum this year, for no other reason than we've been exceptionally busy... hooray for that!

We normally charge £100 for the one day Wallcrete Course but to to give things a bit of a push on here we've made the decision to offer the next 3 Training days free of charge.

These are the dates and venues:

16th July - Sheffield

24th July - Newbury

27th August - Manchester

So if you've been thinking about it for a while, now's the time to give Clare a call on 01635 202224 to book your place.

There's plenty of info on the Forum but if you've not read up on the system yet, take a quick look at the Walls page on our website, here: WALLCRETE decorative wall rendering

Our normal maximum for a full day's training is 12, so as it'll be 1st come / 1st served don't put it off any longer; call Clare on 01635 202224 and get a new string to your bow.

Regards

Bob

PS If you've been on a Wallcrete Course before and would like a refresher, that's no problem - you'll be more than welcome.

Why do you never do the south :RpS_confused:

Hi Keith, Newbury is as South as we go at the moment.... thing is we hold the Training Days at our Depots.

Where are you based?

Edit: I see you're Kent....

Well Keith (and Jesssop) I'm sure you'll find it a worthwhile day and well worth the 100+ miles each way - if not I'll refund the cost of the course.... Ah... :RpS_wink:

4 hour drive is a bit much for me :-( if i was any further east i would get wet

might be able to make the manchester course in august. will check diary and call tomorrow if I can make it

Hey Jesssop, if we could get enough interest in your neck of the woods we would consider a Wallcrete Roadshow... Maybe I'll give some thought to promoting that in the future but if you could get a group interested, just let me know. (Dunno whether you guys keep yourselves to yourselves or all work with each other.)

And RobJack, thanks, hope to hear from you tomorrow.

By the way, thanks for all the calls from the various Forumites today, you've kept Clare (and Jeannie) nice and busy.

11 places booked across the 3 locations, so that's a decent result for Day 1.

I'm using The Plasterers Forum Mobile App

If you did one in Newcastle may be the Scottish contingent would come doon for it ;-)

The Manchester one is a day after I come home from my four day stag weekend in benidorm, not a hope in hell I'll make it out my bed!!

You haven't met my missus have you?? More chance of England winning world cup!! :RpS_laugh:

I went to benidorm four months ago with my mates for three days, came home on Monday in some state. Wednesday I took my youngest daughter to a birthday party and when I walked in I took a massive panic attack, never had one before in my life! Took me till Friday to feel normal that's why I'm apprehensive about booking on.

That's fair enough mate you don't have to explain. Just do what's best for you ? :RpS_thumbup:

Where you based marshy??
Was.looking at wallcrete stuff the other day. But more out of curiosity and would.never really use it so won't waste the space on the Manchester day.

Would love to come but am skint as spend my savings on holiday next month in Shropshire.

Well, we won't pay you a mileage rate for coming but the Training Day itself is free.... :RpS_biggrin: sometimes the ladies even serve up a lunch if you're a good looking bunch. :RpS_drool:

We cover all eventualities so if you book I'll make sure our First Aider is alerted... :RpS_wink:

Most certainly George.

The skills and techniques are a good match to plastering but some of our most successful Wallcrete installers have precisely zero plastering experience.
