Hi has anybody got experience in using one coat plasters internal is it suitable to plaster straight onto bare brick once its been pva'd. and how long does one have to wait before troweling/polishing it up after application thanx.
Hi I've been told to use a softer mortar such as a lime mortar for replacing bricks and pointing spalling brick work my question is I've found some pre bagged mixed lime mortar 25kg do I add sand&cement to this,or just use it straight from the bag with water thanx

Hi I'm new to here my question is it worth me going back to college at 38 i did 1yr at Blackpool college in 2001 and received a entry level 2 certificate plastering what do i need to get qualified i.e diploma or nvq. i dont understand the difference nvq diploma city guilds etc .

Hi is it common practice to grind out old brick cement joints when putting a scratch coat on external wall as I was told I need to do this so the render sits in the joints .if so what depth would you grind them out to. any help appreciated u.k
