    Aquapanel rendering.

Hello all. I specialise in Timber Frame extensions and usually finish with aquapanel and a parex product. The extension I am building at the moment needs to be matched with dash to the house. Has anyone ever applied aquapanel, maite and mesh as usual and then once dry, one coat sand and cement...

    Parex Monorex fail

Nearly always windy there. At the time Micro was about the only thing available and definitely said in the spec that it could go on sound paintwork. I may have to dig out the old spec sheets. It was micro 2000. I think it has changed to 3000 now.

    Parex Monorex fail

Funny but when I built the extension on my house i rendered the gable end before the scaffold came down with K rend. I then wanted to fit new doors and windows before I rendered front and rear walls. When it came to finishing the rendering Encon had stopped supplying Krend and I couldn't get...

    Parex Monorex fail

I buy all my render through Encon insulation. I went through it with their Parex chap and he didn't even mention getting parex to spec it. The customer is insistent on a re-rend. Peter Barker said to her that if I contacted them we could work together to sort it out but trying to get hold of...

    Parex Monorex fail

Hi. The substrate was a sand and cement render. but it was absolutely solid. It was painted but the paint was very good. Like I said, nothing has failed in adhesion terms it just seems that the monorex is soft. We are close to the coast and the house in question does get battered by the...

    Parex Monorex fail

Hello All. I am a general builder and undertook an over render to a house in Plymouth. The existing render was solid so it was agreed to use monorex over the top. At the time the only available primer from Parex was Microgobetis 2000. The walls were cleaned and prepared and then a coat of...
