Your dead right mate. I did price it without the beads but you no your self time consuming and the fella said he doesn't mind it with the beads. Cheaper and quicker.
Haha now I'll feel bad goner go back to mine Friday got told by the estate agents who we do work for that there was only two ceilings now there the hole kitchen and bathroom to do typical.
If you scrape down the plastic bead exposing all the corners so you see a white line going all the way down it can look quite good I no you shouldn't have to but just an idea.
If you no the customer is definitely having it done do a test patch and see how hard it is done loads were it fell off and loads were it well keyed then you no how much to price if for.
When I first started the plasterer I served my time with only used multi then when I went on my own I started to experiment with board finish and I never look back I can't wait round for multi the only time I use multi now is when I do big ceilings.
To be honest johniosaif that side of it was down to the builder I suggested that and a proper thanking system with drainage system but builder no best.
Most of it used for storage one room as his office all the brick work was clean off and painted in a tanking slurry then scratched in sand and cement painted again and scratched again then the k-rend was done never seen it done like this before but that want the builder wanted a price for.
