How have you lads got your vans decked out,ive just put a second floor in mine so i can slide all my long gear underneath. Ive only got a peugeot expert so its made twice as much floor space really but just lost a bit of height.. :)

When patching in to exsisting plaster do you lads try and feather in or just leave it high and let the decorators fill upto it,i ask cus ive been moaned at this week as feathering it in causes more work as when they bang the emulsion on it fetches off the thin skim.....(if you follow my drift).

Been asked to bring floor level in a conservatory level with existing as there taking patio door out and having just a opening its 25mm low,do you rekon 25mm of screed is to thin and will break up,you can get fibre's to put in the mix that could help,what do ya rekon lads ? :-\

Doin a bedroom ceiling next week,its had polystyrene tiles on it,they have been removed but its left some adesive there wich has been painted over with matt emulsion,should i wba it or would just a couple of coats of pva be ok ?

Am i right in thinking that using board instead of multi on a re-skim will give you more woking time,only going to do a hall stairs and landing so the extra setting time may be a bonus ?

When skimming plasterboard do you lads put on 1 coat or 2 ? only talking to a builder today and he was saying on price work most will just single coat,is this right ?
