    correct depth of backing coat ?

    what do u guys say is the right depth of backing plaster (hardwall or bonding) i hear different things 6mm 8mm 10mm 12mm 2 x 6mm etc etc also do u go one coat or on in two layers cheers :)

    what would u price these 2 jobs at?

    rendering 2 walls each wall 2 ft x 6 ft 3 walls in kitchen work is mainly above kitchen cupboards and a few bigger areas, and loads of obsticles, not a lot in sq meters but time consuming and awkward, 2 reveals what in labour do u think these r worth or with materials :-/

    internal corner trowels

    are these only used when your skim both walls into a corner and they both walls r wet? or as well as just one wall? r they any good? or is it better with a trowel and just work out each way from the corner i only used it once on a course :-/ whats your opinions on these ?

    the way i was taught, is applying ya plaster with small trowel, then pull out the massive bugger just to reduce lines and move about what u all ready put on the wall while its still quite wet, then leave and do few trowel down with small trowel again but yesterday i was talking to a plasterer...
