We went over it again with TC, team of 4 on an elevation of two tubs, for some reason it just kept pulling in quicker than I've ever seen but we got it right this evening

I could handle the defects but it's in a straight line which is annoying, only thing I can think of is a higher suction on this strip maybe the breeze coming off the extension roof or something. Just annoying though as I've never had problems with TC before I'm just gonna give it a paint then...

I've had a section dry quicker than the rest, and it looks odd, will I just be able to paint over the full elevation to sort it?

You could thin coat over it all, thin coat is a different style of render but will last longer than the finish you have at the moment Is it nicer? Not necessarily but I've used it on my own house

I've got some garden walls I'm doing, we've used MS-20 but didn't think it would dry enough to be done in 1 day so have done it as a scratch coat method Anyone else do this and also does the base coat need to be fully dry before we 2nd coat?

I've been using Weber bead adhesive which is decent, any other good stuff available? Have stopped using pink grip etc as they void some warranties

I have around 15m2 of Weber to do, no base coat and done in two passed at 15mm Is it an overnight job or early start late finish. Plan to bead it all up then do it the following day

Weber OCR is a good product, always warm the customer though if they use it you see the grain in it still from the sand I'm buying a power float to try and get a good a finish as I possibly can but I do quite a lot of rendering

Agreed on dark colours with mono, always look patchy Penlaw I use and they are the cheapest I can find for Krend

I've used K-rend K-pro on my sister's house, it was more for build up of grime but it made it very very water repellent, I was very impressed tbf

Always find it dries out too quick in the bucket, we always use Johnstones nowadays

1st time doing this as I find hp-12 pretty s**t but I have to use it on a job, Obviously it's base and then mesh but would I be best leaving this to dry fully before doing the 2nd coat of base or would the next day be ok? Always find base coat bubbles/blisters in this weather in TC

When hand applying how thick do people do it Base and mesh 4-5mm then a thin pass of 6mm x2? From what I'm reading in other groups it's spraying really well nowadays

Just had a call back today, L shaped crack in the render, 30cm up 30cm accross, fully meshed too

We used Webber in the end, good product, the block area was probably about 20mm thick ( a window with block work set back) the rest we did at 11mm with full mesh, rubbed up well and was nicer to work with than K-mix Will give fassa a go next time as I've heard good things about it
