Multi finish pallets for 200£

lads I got few pallets of multi for sale .mate owns a haulage firm an transports its an there is 4 or 5 pallets there that not accounted for. 200£ he said .wer in north west .07715238155 if interested.some other bits there as well but not been to see what there yet. Let u know later fellas. Date on multi is 9/16

Its OK I don't really have anywhere to store a pallet
I was just queuing the price as it wasn't that much cheaper than I can go and get 1 bag from the merchants for which is why I was trying to clarify the delivery of it etc
 
To be honest I get my finish board and multi at the same price and pay £4.03

1 bag or 100 bags

Buying a pallet you got to store it as well!
 
We can get ours for £4.70 that includes vat..b&q do it for £5 a bag aswell all in..not massive savings if ur buying a knock off pallet u want it for at least Half price delivered or wats point
 
Correct @Kitchy as you can offset your materials against profit for tax!!!

I've had alsorts offered over the yrs and like you say unless Half price no incentive for me!
 
Always stayed away from jewson . Thought it was expensive but might get account at that price . One by me aswel
 
Jewsons ard ment to be cheapest nowadays..there used to be expensive,there expensive if u just walk in shop without a account..i seen a roll of scrim in there was £10+vat
 
I have an account with jewsons they are usually ok for prices but other day for some reason my prices weren't loaded onto the system. Tried to charge me £3 for a 25kg of building sand and £8 for mastercrete

That will be Joe public prices..T***s are Jewson ive heard for doing this that's y never go..dont like them
 
I've just opened an account with build base who's service and prices are alot better, but they are about 30 mins away where jewsons are less than 5. Not bad when I get a delivery but most days I'm only needing a few bags or boards

Do wat Vince does buy out of date pallets and store them..:)..loves a gud out of date bag of skim does r Vince..
 
As you say you got to watch jewsons and always check your bills!
When the prices are set they are competative and I can roll out of bed into their yard.

I did get a big delivery of all sorts of stuff which included screws etc
I don't have screws setup as I find toolstation good for those but then the bill came I was shocked to say the least!
They sent novi pro screws which I asked for 32mm they put through 2 boxes of gyproc 32mm (500) £45+vat

Needless to say somebody got a rocket up their arse
Ended up with them free but it took 2 months to credit!

I generally only get bagged gear boards and cove from them.

Found a decent supplier of beads as well catnic or expamet 49p
But recently been using those cheaper locusrite beads that are like rip off of catnic beads for 42p a length which seem to be OK as long as they are laid flat.

Pva been using the everbuild 506 contract stuff which has been ok at £4.50 of I buy 2 boxes. Was using selocrete but it was getting expensive and seemed to be getting thinner!
Saying all that I haven't actually found a pva regardless of printed ratio that I'd be happy using diluted at 4/5-1

Goshivr just realised I've let all my materials prices out
Need to negotiate cheaper now!

Oh and by the way tp is the cheapest by a mile for cove I just can never be arsed driving 25 minutes in a morning!

And if anybody likes using knauf boards ccf is by far the cheapest

Can't comment on buildbase those as I have never dealt with them although the old boy uses them and said prices are good

Anyone tried magnet trade no merchant round York can touch them there country wide so most cities should have them only disadvantage is collect only but apparently can deliver straight from supplier multi,board,bonding and dry wall cheapest around and all boards cheaper lot of lads in this area use them!!!!

I'm just a buy it off shelve a and price it into job off wickets kind if guy..

Easy peasy and most importantly a macyds next to em!!!

Get it as cheap as you can and charge wickes prices!
But shhh don't tell the customers

Around my way it's £5.38 for multi n board around a £5 at Bnq if I was quoting on a house id go with £6 bag multi

Wed go in at £8 a bag..its £5 at tradepoint..we don't really buy materials as there's no point as we are vat registered but we are on flat rate vat so cant claim bk on materials only receipts £2500 or more I think it is

Leeds..try make as much on materials as poss on domestics..ive been known to make £100 plus on materials on a little domestic job..fck em
