Well that's a morning I won't get back in my life..why do they do this to people for the sake of a day skimming before the fitting..?

Say you need to do it on a day rate as it's so fiddly with the units fitted. Take 5 days to do it.

Stopped doing this kind of jobs after scratching the nice new work surface with my trowel. Some people have no idea thinking it's only a small area couple of hrs for the plasterer [emoji35]

I told you he was ginger.....was that your sheeting or did they do it?

You should be careful out in the sun....i hope you had some factor 50 on(y)

You need to grow some balls instead of nodding your head, the last few jobs you have posted up have been filled with furniture and now a new kitchen. You are a walk over, I would of told them all to get to f**k and I've been doing domestic for years.

Being laid back and agreeable gets you brownie points with the customers, I'm starting at 6.30am tomorrow just to keep a customer happy.

Lol trouble causing I look forward to your next post "I damaged a kitchen and they want compo".dont make it personal an experienced plasterer who is self employed would be an idiot to take that job on unless you were cards in for the kitchen company.

There isn't anything to confess and that's the truth I seriously don't have it in for anyone, fair enough I jump on stupid stuff which he seems to post (not another dig) he is the one who has created this goody, baddy bullshit which is in his head and obviously in yours. I would give the same advise to anyone as I have on this post, it's not criticism unless you take it like that and you seem to have which is steering the thread a different way. You can take all your info off vince that's fine and I agree he is a nice bloke and went out of his way to help you, I've never ever criticised that, it's admiral and something I may have done if you were near me. You either take my advise ie don't skim a kitchen once it's fitted or you learn a very valuable lesson, it's that simple so reel your neck in your way off the mark.

I dont have a problem with you flynny just maybe chill with vendetta a bit, the pair of you are a bit boring the way you argue...if pete wants to skim a kitchen and use unifinish its fine...if you want to stick to multi and finish with 20" marshalltown thats fine too

Not critisism apparantly:numberone: if telling someone they need to grow balls aint critisism I dont know what is

There isn't a vendetta I've told you that and it's a bit pathetic for you to think it, I have never slagged Pete for using uni I may of slagged the claims about uni he makes. I have questioned the product a bit more than others but they are usually questions. He says he has no connection to it but takes anything said about it personal which gets him into bother. I don't take anything personal when someone says I should use one product rather than the other but he seems to take it personal I don't. Wake up mate, imagine if Ryan from one stop kept making out he had no connection to the eze?

Ive had to do a full reskim on a 4 bed new build where family were living......kitchen/ fittings/arcs/scirts/furniture/carpets/blinds the fuucking lot.
Persimmons offered to buy the house back in the end ....she wasnt happy with f**k all.....wanted new showers/re tiled/new garden/new kitchen.......absolute cuunt of a woman.

Tbf it's for me mother in laws best mate..i done 3 with kitchen in this year .. It's them divvy fitter's fault for not waiting for plastering to be done.
Think if you have the zela pink power protection sheeting and bespoke plug trowel it's ok every now and again

If you turn down crappy little jobs like the one in this thread, then those customers never use you again and they don't recommend you to anyone. I suppose you could lay it on with a plazzy trowel (raised eyebrow) to prevent scratching units with steel trowel. Just a thought?
