Cracks in ocr

I've just rendered my porch. The side wall was rough painted render so I a chance and gave it a coat of Sbr and scratched it with sand and cement. The front I boarded with external aquapanel scratched and meshed using weber lac. Left it for two weeks.yesterday I topped it using ocr. All went well. I went out to look this morning and there's a few horizontal cracks appearing already. Sods The bit on the side hasn't any. Yet.

Never used it before but plenty of lads on here have and think the majority will tell you they have had problems with it cracking.

I'm sure you was on a few weeks ago asking about this job
OCR is sand & cement and is not suitable for a carrier board
The render over the painted render will most probably fail also

it should be rend aid mate if anything lac is part of a thin coat system should have just sponged the lac up then put a 1.5 bucket finish on imo

They look like cracks when you put sand anf cement on a bit thick and it slumps. I think it's a combination of the ocr being a bit thick between the 3 beads and maybe the scratch not deep enough. Because it's not happened on the wall I scratched in sand cement
Seemed to have disappeared now.

Rendaid is too brittle over a render board I was told. I've done mono over lac on blueclad with no problems. Think OCR is notorious for cracking

Lac is for cement board ,which he also went over ,so that was right ,imho

You done the right thing scratching with lac.
The lac should then accept a mineral render, I'd call weber mate see what they say.
Let us know the outcome if you call them.

I would of sponged the lac and decorated it.
