Hiya fellas, just got a rendering job first one I've had in years, but ant got a clue how to price it. It's a garage, so I've got 7m x 5m and it's about 10 blocks high.
Going to attack it by doing a spatterdash coat, scratch coat then a final coat.
Just asking for a few opinions really, all materials are supplied so it's LABOUR ONLY.

Was thinking probably a weeks work me and my lad, £800 / £900. Just don't want to be miles away, you know what a mean

I have just gave a customer a price for exactly the same size job on a garage...hope it's not the same one as mine.

When I gave them the price they said it was to expensive

Day 1 bead and scratch
Day 2 top coat
As for price,it depends who it for. Regular builder customer who puts plenty my way would get it on my day rate. Punter would pay considerably more.
 
In fairness, if you a bit rusty then your scud coat ( splatter dash) and bead on day one, your scratch coat day two but because of the lower temperatures the render coat may take two days because of your probable slower speed.

So 4 days by your day rate.

2 days with a ritmo. Bead day one, render on by 9.30am day two. Done.
 
I just don't get all these pricing questions... There's definetley something not right on here at moment...

I still think there's flyers handed out at that training place that advertises on here saying to ask these sort of questions on here etc

Type Into google ...plastering prices.lol....even mumsnet have an answer...rated people, martin lewis lol the list is endless:LOL:...you've got to laff...... tpf is just another stop off point:rebotando:
 
I was asking a genuine question! You and others say uni on artex is great? What if its not been painted or just had a coat of emulsion? Different reaction?.yeah we all over board blah blah blah..not always practical:(....I can just imagine uni on unpainted artex being a nightmare....

might be wrong..never used it .

Unpainted should not be overskimmed with unifinish..low suction I meant silk paint ...matt paint medium to low suction ..
