Hi guys.

I have been thinking about getting the 600mm speed skim for a while but can't decide if it's worth it? I only do domestic work so don't need the bigger one. For those of you who have one would you recommend it?

I have the 600 and a 1200 and use them both from time to time, they do have their place when you get used to them, worth a try(y)

They get better with use, bend the edges in a touch , snip a couple of mm off the edge and away you go.

For finishing work do you just put your first coat on with a trowel and use it to lay down? Then straight on with second coat? I heard a bloke saying someone used to finish with one but I dirnt think they polished up?

I thought they invented one with a metal edge for finishing, but it never took off

Hi all,

Apologies if you are having trouble sourcing your Speedskim from your usual stockist. Due to the success of the product we have had to take a necessary step to expand, which has meant moving into larger premises to cope with demand. So some production has been slightly affected.

As with all moves its been painful, but we are getting things straight.

If you are in a rush, our online shop is unaffected and all Speedskim products (including our popular sets) are available for shipping next business day :)

If you do prefer to get your Speedskim products from your usual stockist do try them first. If they are out of stock don't worry things will be straight very soon ;-)

Apologies for any inconvenience caused during this expansion ;-)
