I'll wait till they bring out the flexiflex mk2 and I'll get one of them, the trowel technology is moving forward so fast these days.

I think the sponge would have worked a treat for you @Jurek when you were using the Knauf skim on that Artex ceiling.

Jesus. Forgot about that one. It was like ground zero. Never got any repeat business off him. Will never understand why.

Used it on mp a few weeks back in an empty house. Came out really nice. It's just a phase I'm going through. Like when a shark needs to keep swimming or it will die I need to keep testing myself, new methods, new materials. I still have the fire in my belly after all these years

I used up a bag of Knauf one coat the other day and it was very creamy and probably could over skim a texture ceiling over Kontakt or Micro with one coat, sponge and finish. Sure the pattern wouldn't show through where maybe using multi with a handful of bonding might not work as well.
