Advice needed, I’m stumped

Hi there, I’m a plasterer if 20 years and never had any callback. I did a job last week and the builder just sent me these pictures after the mist coat. I was going over existing multi finish and green moisture resistant board. I gritted the existing finish. The basement area (not all of job) had a previous problem with damp and the application temp was about 8/10 degrees. I have no idea what has happened here as I’ve never seen plastering that bad in my life. Advice would be greatly appreciated. I didn’t do anything in this job that I haven’t done countless times before……. Apart from making it look f****d

is this roughcast?

just joking, a few factors in there:
1- wanky walls/ceilings (should have bonded them and used a straight edge) before skimming
2- are you using any flexible trowels? as that might be another reason you get those bumps/waves in there

my advice, go back there as quick as possible, bond the areas out, use a straightedge and then skim, even if this means that you'll lose a days work or whatever

p.s: if it makes you feel better, It happens(ed) to everyone at some point

wtf are you doing skimming over MR board anyway?
totally fkin pointless you're taking away the whole point of it being moisture resistant if you do that....may as well just use standard board.
and I'll bet any money the boards weren't gritted beforehand.......(read specs on skimming MR board) 20 years experience though you should know that...

a fkin pi$$ poor job all round by the looks of it....
