I put beads over the top mate.i only really blend on walls where there are big returns and clients don't want other doing,if that makes sense.

What do you think is common practice here ? What is going to give the best finish ? And there is the answer

Went to see a job off of here not long ago, the guy who took the job on in the first place didn't use any, customer had to sand all the reveals back, looked like a right pigs ear

rough bastards.I once had a client and after I'd applied beads and started skimming she was concerned that paint wouldn't stick to corners and asked if there was special paint.I left and received a txt saying she would like to have walls painted before paying as she didn't think it would stick.:muyenojado:

You should have said that's fine but when it paints fine you owe me an extra £50 for with holding money hahaha

Gotta love customers...
Did a bathroom a few weeks ago, no toilet so he made me a makeshift one with pipes and a funnel in his kitchen (empty no sink etc), awesome, makes a change a customer caring

thats quite nice of them...did they leave you a knife and fork to get the lumps down :D

New beads over old every time. If its a wider angle a thin coat stop end slightly over hung does the job. I did a job awhile back were the so called plasterers had used Ames tape over gyproc to form the angle and it wasn't angle tape. I think they were trying to get a world record for how much coverage they could get out of a bag of multi.
