Insulated plasterboard

I'm wanting to knock some plaster of only part of the wall in a corner and use insulated plasterboard.
Plaster is currently 20mm thick the thinnest i can find so far is 22mm
is there a way round this what the thinnest you can get

That's the thinnest one as far as I'm aware
 
Tbh the heat retention on 22mm is rubbish you might as well just go for 50mm as a minimum after all the heat retention is what you are trying to achieve
 
Insulation boards start at 27mm extruded foam in my book .... 10mm of polystyrene on a half inch board is just a waste of time.

maybe he's just trying to build the wall out to 20mm as it sounds like a patch repair job, so that little bit of insulation wont matter, so f**k knows why your on about 50mm and heat retention

I was giving best advice imo , if you look at insulation board depths or even talk to the makers of any insulation they will tell you the same , 27 mm or less was only introduced to satisfy bog standard retro fit building regs on the lead up to 2020 (pre 2016 I think) or to enhance let's say a ceiling on an extension which already had insulation in there as part of the refurb to meet old heat retention regs , they are long gone now (2017-2020) and most have at least 50mm boards on those ceilings or walls unless the cavity have been built to current depths, obviously on retro fit this can't be changed and produces/makers of insulation boards will advice a minimum of there 50mm ish to retain a decent amount of heat , in my own personal opinion the 22 mm is probably for inside tight reveals say just so there is at least something there , other than that the heat retention from them is near enough same as nothing considering the board is 12 mm that only leave 10 mm , pointless. :crying:
