Go on Dan - go meet up with John and have a weekend in Northwich!

Take Glenns Van - the sun and heat won't effect it up there.... lol

Lol. Bit far for me mate, wouldnt mind meeting sir john of renders one day,

Hows you mr lord, anything coming up in my area that may interest me?

Welcome anytime pal.

I have a range of stuff going on this week and I want to make up for the lost days so Any local plasterers welcome. All beading and details done so its either acrylic or mesh depending on the forecast but its looking good for sat.

Of course you will be paid. If That helps

struggling a bit with manflu - adrenaline kept me going earlier in the week, now not so clever.....

Busy days at Timber Expo Tuesday and Wednesday - already had several mails wanting assistance and spec's... more midlands and Wales TBH (exhib in Birmingham). should get the leads through next week to start chasing through....

Lots of networking with others in the industry - Timber certainly seems to be taking off with the house build pick up and brick and block problems!

Anyway - back to JFE's Thread...........

Great opportunity to work with a top notch spread and learn ! Hope a few guys help out and take up this opportunity......

Glad to see the back of the job for the winter now. Acrylic is hit and miss but I don't mind telling yous that weber sil tf hangs and hangs and hangs this time of year, like days and days before its safe from rain......

Stick A-dry in it, it will set acrylic at 5c in about 4 hours, not even that pricy quid and a half per metre. I'm putting it in dpr now on a job, it avoids sleepless nights.

Do u put 15 quids worth in for a average 25 kg tub

Yep but it comes in 118mm pots directly added to the pale. 1 pot -1 pale.
The reason it's not hard and set rule is obviously the smaller the grain size the further it will go, as opposed to something like 3mm which goes no where.
