    Drill update

Our C60 packed in about a year ago, we couldn't get the correct spare part so sent it back to the factory, they fixed it, put a new PAT test badge on it and sent it back FOC.

    What does the future hold?

One bulider we work for has moth balled the 3 houses he was building and laid off half his staff, the houses will be roofed and sealed up they'll put the roads and drives in and then lay the rest of the staff off if there's no more sales, so that's about 25% of our work gone and the other...

    corners...

A edge of the stop bead would be seen from the other side, just feather it in, if the client doesn't know what's good for him don't waste time and money on stop beads.

what station do u listen to

Radio1, Radio2, Radio4, Radio York, Arrrow Rock Radio depending where I am, what's on the radio and what mood I'm in. Radio 1 tends to wear you down after a while with the modern crap, Radio 2 has is a pleasant mix but too many old codgers, I stopped listening to Virgin about 5 years ago...

    Testing artex ceiling anyone???

British Gypsum used to recommend: PVA-coat of bonding-skim, I don't know if that's still the case, but it's got to be cheaper than getting the asbestos specialists in.

    board celing and skim

The cables should be left up, otherwise it's the spread's decision where the lights are positioned. The sparky's we generally work with all prefer them left up but we did work with one right 'merchant banker' that had the apprentice sparkx clip short lengths of cable between the joists then...
