Had same problem in winter with monocouche xf, used to slide off basecoat that was cured, best way we found was sprayed onto a green basecoat, and not ruled too much.
need a hand for a couple of weeks in Leicester spraying monocouche , experience in monocouche not essential but a plasterer who can rule and bead and wants to learn about spraying mono and base coats would be ideal, further work as well ,

hello dean . i live in northamptonshire and am looking for a labourer/apprentice i mainly do monocouche and insulated renders ,
my numbers 0797197122 my names Ian cheers
im a bit skeptical about microgoby , always preferred to do a scratch as simps says with highbond, i know people swear by it and ive seen some top jobs done using it, but i just believe some backgrounds need a scratchcoat!
he is right tho, have used gyprime on celcons and sprayed with cpi . it was not nice had a job to rule it ,it was sliding about and sagging ,didnt rub up till next day, and no suction when we skimmed it either!
when simps says "a quick splatter coat all over the room" he actually means the walls and not the floor , ceiling ,doors and windows although sometimes i do wonder!
