    I’m probably a fool but I like to do everything I can myself, I enjoy the learning curve. Plus it’s being tiled so finish doesn’t need to be perfect.

    Hi I’m patch rendering a bathroom wall with sand and cement render to level with existing render. I’ve put on the first scratch coat of around 15mm at 4:1 but there is still around 15-20mm to level it. Is the best course of action to build this up in the second coat (5:1)? Or should I split...
