Hi, This is a long shot on a plasterers forum but does anyone have any experience of damp proofing a bungaroosh wall suffering from penetrating and rising damp. From what I have read so far is that chemical injection is not advised (is this a universal view)? so I am left with waterproof render and/or dry lining with insulated plasterboard such as Kingspan. I would appreciate any views please.

You could use a tanking system, either membrane or a cementitious product. Get a damp survey would be my advice

Horrible walls, I'd render inside with a good water proofer ,then use sbr sovereign k11 tanking system, or you could delta membrane over the render,
other option is lime render and let it breathe, @seanlar
