Wee dispatch bodywork rotting round it, have to send it to the scrap yard in the sky. Alls I need atm is having to feckin fork out for a new van. What do yous reckon would be decent van on a pretty small budget, say up to 2.5-3k pref 06 or fresher, that would be kicking about. Don't want to buy one that's gonna have me in the garage more than on the road. I'm thinking vivaro/traffic or transit. Preferably not older than 06. Cheers

Put that 2.5-3k down as a deposit on a new van, you'll never regret it

I'd love to mate, but until I have the balls to take on me own work, or that instead of working to someone, I don't want the monthly payments over me, especially as I prob need to change the car this year too, so will likely take hp on it. Our wages over here are maybe half of what yous lads work for. Lol

ah....

I am a ford fan when it comes to vans but if you can find a VW transporter then I hear they are very good and hold their value

I do like a transporter, drove one for a prev employer, just worrying at the state of one for that budget. If can get decent one for it I certainly would be tempted

I just got a trafic was going to get a Peugeot expert glad I didn't now just think if your getting a half shift on a Saturday that pays for your van or plaster one bedroom a month pay for your van and a car a month instead off forking out your hard earned cash in one go

I got a traffic for 2.5k...it 91k and I'm up to 111k now without any major issues, a fee little bits that have took £100 to get sorted. Its 05 reg

I'm part chopping mine in 3 months and they will only give me £600 if you can wait that long and happy to travel over you can have mine for the £600 the garage will give me

Hi mate. Was there any particular reason why u didn't go for the expert?

No cockney I was quite set on getting an expert but I got a good deal on the trafic and the only reason I was glad I got the trafic was much more room and sometimes I think I would've struggled if I had got the expert

Yes mate, I'll drop you pm before I do the part ex just in case....wouldn't have minded her having a good home as they may well break her for parts

An o6 vivaro is sort of what I'm after mate, though 240k high nuff miles. My dispatch had about 215k on it, though engine is grand it's the cradle holding the engine, can't get second hand one cheap enough as all that age are f**k*d as well. Plus other stuff. Just not worth pumping 600into when I bought it for 750 18months ago. Plus the southern reg, vehicle tax would confuddle Me lol

I've had a wee quick squizzy on it just, only took the decision on thurz to say f**k it to the citroen, so haven't had a decent look. Had look in gumtree just really. Did see a decent transit on done deal for 2.5k,but no mention of miles etc on that ad.

If no one wants it, I would possibly be interested even though you are the other side of the country. Wanted a traffic when I started up again last year but couldn't afford one, ended up with a ducato but she looking a bit doggy now the welding has started. 20170520_180544.jpg

Hi mate you'd be welcome and 600 would be a steal as nothing really wrong with it apart from a few little knocks....that van was my home for a little while so hate the the thought of it being scrapped...had a new cambelt too when I bout it as know they can be dodgy on trafics

I'll pm you when I'm doing the swap will be start of august

Short mate, got decent racking too. 6 weeks in that van middle of January....it had iceicles on the inside. When I can be arsed will send you some photos....will need sign writing removing but hot water and a credit card will do that, only been on a year so paint won't have faded
