The original house is the part with two chimneys it was a big extension plus annexe with a refurb of the house. The 6 windows you can see in the existing house were also added copying the detail above from existing on the front. All existing was repointed as it had been done but badly sometime previous.

The new front door with double bullnose blue brick arch.

There was a couple of herringbone panels where they would have liked windows but were unable due to planning

This was just a little patio area out the back reclaimed bricks to match the house on the wall and reclaimed blue pavers.

This is in the new lounge two bricks short not actually sure I got a photo after I finished it!

Thats the chimney for the fireplace built to match existing. I do have some better pictures on the laptop but these are conveniently on my phone!

I should be back there soon to start an orangery will be nice to have a look now all the carpentry and decoratings done I normally miss out seeing jobs properly finished!

Its not to bad mate, quite good realy, you can always pick holes In brickwork the bonding arrangement isn't correct either side of the panel as its Flemish bond so should be header closure not a threequarter but that sometimes happens depending where the panel has to go.

Roughly 40 openings in the building which threw up plenty of bonding problems header closure just won't work sometimes. The herringbone was still wet at the time done last as the planning dispute was ongoing whilst the job carried on.

It is impressive work wallmonkey. But i have to agree with the comments about the herringbone. I am sorry. Sometimes you need to be cruel to be kind. That sounds daft but you know what I mean

I'm all for criticism and tips to improve work! I was always led to believe herringbone should be set out keeping the cuts down either side equal on panels such as that everything else is just a case of keeping it in line?

Probably my last nice job for a while a folly with gothic windows and an orangery! All reclaimed bricks again.
Bullnose blue brick arch doorway in the radius.

Front view of the folly reclaimed cobbles leading upto it windows are all reproductions but do look spot on!

The single window in the last picture ended up being swapped for a double arch...
Probably my last nice jobs for a good while and my final jobs for my old company!
