Alreet lads. Just had a quick look whether this has been covered before(no doubt it has but cant see it). So we've been using weber mono for some years now but recently had a random visit off a parex rep who explained their version and we are thinking of using it but just wondering what you guys think?
How does it compare in quality ie cracks/colour consistancy from batch to batch?
Pliability?
Scrape times?
Thanks lads

we know what the setting times are with weber. we can purchase weber local. so why bother with any other product?

Its the same to use. They both quality product. Parex is a little more refined I would say. Weber may be slightly more coarse. The rotors and stators like Parex better but were talking minimal differences.

This time of year is tricky with Parex. Same day scrapes but its a 7am start and can be a 7am finish. Weber is quicker set.

A lot avoid Parex this time of year and switch back onto it when overnight scrapes are on the cards when it gets a tad colder. Then Parex comes back into play.

Use Axel 3000 or similar but extra cost to the job.

Just what I was lookin for. Cheers for that. Will leave it a few week and see what the weather does then give parex a blast. I like trying new stuff as you never know when you may need/have to use it again.

Depends where your based but cost is one to consider.

Parex is a 30kg bag weber is 25kg bit weber is cheaper. Not as cheap in the north west as other areas tho
