Hello chaps, been on the trowel 25yrs,starting to embrace modern render systems,I need some advice on OCR,I have done a couple of small jobs, and encounted no probs,I now have a new build extension to OCR and then tryolean.3 sides to extension, biggest elevation being around 30m2,background is clinker blocks or concrete ,can't quite remember, problem I have is getting a decent trustworthy labourer,so am on my jack jones,so to be in control of job I am going to bead up,then apply a tight coat over block work ,embed mesh as customer is worried about cracking, then close in mesh and scratch,do the whole building this way and then top coat,I feel I would be more in control this way,is it ok to do this,so in effect I will be doing a scratch then a top coat a day or two later, would there be suction issues as such,I know you can do in 2passes in same day,but I feel I would be chasing my tail,so to speak, like I say limited experience with OCR,need to know if it's ok to scratch and top coat later on,even though it is a one coat render, any comments much appreciated, cheers chaps
