EWI? Any folfs on got much experience with this, any tips

you need adequate training using a manufactures system and your best bet is to be associated with said manufacturer for warranties etc, EWI isn't the sort of aspect of the trade you can pick up as you go along, as there is a lot to go wrong. we see so many badly fitted systems.
 
As owls has said, get onto a manufacturers training day. Each manufacturer has their own way of doing ewi. Get it wrong and it will cost a lot to put right.
 
you need to work for a firm that does lots of different systems.
i have seen loads of plasterers fail in the first week and go home with very little wages.
 
I've done a lot of mono, krend, pro rend etc and my work mate used a fair amount thincoat work in the states. That said we always pass up on the ewi work, like malc said a lot of spreads have had their hands bit taking on this type of work. We tend to stick to what we know. Best of luck Mr Moore.
