So were spraying the Webber Ivory and today had an issue with the setup,

Ritmo M
Water Pump, pulling from a Bosch
Harrington Generator (recommended by PFT northern)

I had the speed on 9 and the water at 200 as per advice from another sprayer,

Render seem really wet and also the machines amps was peaking at 7.5/8amp which ive been told it should go no higher then 6.

Can anyone help with settings for this setup?

Maybe mess with the speed a little, cant turn the water down anymore cause the machine is tripping out

Thanks

(Have you changed your rotor stator)I had a simler problem my rotar stator needed tightening up a lot more and worked fine you may find then you need to put your water settings higher

Nah, took it off about a week ago to clean it thoroughly, spraying tomorrow so will give it a tighten before we start spraying see how i get on, I had the water on about 200 and the speed on 8 seemed to be much thicker, Each to its own with the moisture in the bags of render etc!

Anyone else got any other ideas why the amps are so high???

Have you got a pressure tester if not I would get one makes life a lot easier that prity much tells you when to stop tightening it up

Did you interfere with the speed once you had started spraying? After you have finished spraying or before you start always do a r&s pressure check. I set mine at 10 bar.

Dont have a pressure tester unfortunately, Yes Rigsby originally i set the machine to speed 9 and the water at around the 225 mark, but the machine was coming in around 7.5amps, so i just knocked the water down a touch to see if i could get it to go was sitting around 12 bar soon as i knocked the water down to 200 machine tripped, so i reset it and then turned the speed down to around 8, then i got bang on 15 bar and the water was on 200 and the thickness was quite good, Im still new to spraying render really just a case of trial and error i reckon,

Course ive had training its a day course for insurance polices

Its nothing to do with insurance policies. It all to do with making sure people can use the machines properly. Part of the training is to do a pressure test on the rotor and stator. If this was carried out and the result of the test had shown the Rotor/stator was worn then you would not have even put material through without swapping for a new rotor/stator.
Who did you train with ? why could you not call them up to get some help

they about 90-100 quid depending on the type you go for
