Jub Edelputz.jpg Advice please,
I want to spray apply this acrylic top coat.
Will I be able to put the powder directly into the ritmo or should I premix it beforehand?
Thanks

I think you will have to pre mix this material first. If you put Ritmo marmorit in youtube you will see Ian Jones (PFT Wales) using a similar product.

Let me know how you go on as I use Jub materials. I will come a give you a hand if you want.

If you're finishing with a float u can mix and spray it speed 5. Use it same as any other bagged render.

What is a jet set pro?

Looked it up, it's that jack of all trades spray gun. Looks good for spraying thin coat.

Ian, on your Marmorit vid you showed the mineral being sprayed with the PFT LK compressor, was it a normal gun? Would the Jetset Pro be a good buy for spraying mineral based acrylic?

Yeah jetset is better than standard spray gun i used in the video. At speed 5 the ritmo will work as a mixing pump . It will mix and spray the mineral render. It will be coming out too heavy on speed 5 to leave as a sprayed finish and so u will need to flatten behind the sprayed on material. U have to go to speed 0 to spray as a texture but the ritmo cannot mix below speed 5 which is why i pre mixed the gear

So anything below 5 and it is pre mixed and a bigger compressor? Doing more and more bucket coats but need to move onto mineral for the colder months.

you got a bigger compressor AntJones?

Do you always use facade paint blones over your mineral texture to get the weather resistance pal. Obviously mineral don't have the resistance of silicone or acrylic bucket

I Cant afford a PFT LK 403 compressor so for now I've picked up a IMPAX 24l High flow compressor from screwfix. £229.oo That should do it. it'll blow 392ltr per minute of free air.
If you fancy jumping on it with us Rigsby I'm planning to do it on monday. Job is in Cannock, Staffs. PM me if you're still interested.

Hi,
Have you used this compressor yet ? how does it compare in reality to how the ltr / min make you think it would work ?
Asking as I have been looking for a bigger flow compressor to go along with the ritmo

No! I have seen all the Dexters and disposed of the evidence.

pinched the compressor though.
