Anyone sprayed anything other than acrylic through the skinnier 19mm pipe? Did a small Tyrolean job this morning and had fun and games getting the gear through the pipe again, it gets blocked right at the end where the size reduces as it hits the metal sleeve. Any ideas for setup? Already have speed on zero and use loads of fairy liquid. Goes through the 25mm just fine though.

use a purge hose. i send the gear through and watch the pressure guage. when the stuff gets to the end it will block and the pressure guage will go up. Turn the machine off, send the purge hose up and turn the water on. The water jet at the end of the purge hose and break through the blockage bit by bit until you reach the wet stuff and then the pressure drops as the stuff exits the hose.

When you are setting up the machine make sure you wet, then completely empty water from the hose. pour the gear into the machine and pump a bit through b4 connecting the hose in case there is any water in the bottom of the machine or rotor stator, lay the hose as flat as you can and send it through at about speed 3-4. when its through drop the speed to 0 for spraying

Oh no still not got the hang of it mate

Cheers Ian, looked like a cowboy this morning sending screwdrivers up the pipe to loosen it up, I'll take your advice an invest in a purge hose.
