I've got a job next week using webber chalk, never used it before and i've read a couple of threads on here about people having problems with it with the ritmo.

Just interested to know what peoples experiences are of using chalk with the ritmo, does it use more water than other mono's? does it spray ok? is it a nightmare to use?

what are your experiences? do you have any advice/tips regarding spraying this with the ritmo.

any input greatly received...

When it was introduced only a few years ago quite a few remarked how well it was. I have used it with no problems to say it is Weber. This is from lads with 3 phrase PFT machines.

Going to use it in a week or so with the Ritmo so let's see.

We don,t find that much different between colours to be honest , small tweak here and there , but i know nothing about Ritmos ,only the problems i read on here

I sprayed 1000m2 of chalk with my ritmo no problem, it is better with a clamp R&S

Weber have introduced their new Eco Smart pral m been spraying it this week and tbh think its brilliant you can spray it a bit wetter and its really good to rule off.

Weber chalk is the old maxit 741 white. Maybe that's why it is a tad different to the rest of the pral range. It sprays nice but then I don't have a Ritmo so can't comment.

Is this Stu then ? Where is Paul?

Do find the ecosmart sets as quick as the normal ? Has this replaced the normal ?

Yeah its stu .... Ive killed paul and thrown his dismembered body into the cheddar gorge :)

Yeah it sets just as quick

Its something to do with cement replacement

well i sprayed it last week for the first time and all was well, water 250 speed nine no problems. I was worried after reading some of the other threads on here but absolutely no problems whatsoever, which is good as i've a few hundred more meters to spray.

strange that other people seem to have had problems though.

Weight of your mind mate :RpS_thumbup:

Don't wont to throw a spanner in works but last week was on speed 9 500 water it went fine no props but could not get my head around why so much water

I put 20 bags of chalk through ritmo today and it sprayed bob on, was ready for rubbing at 2.00...happy days.

Sounds alot that of water that I would have thought with a slower machine the water would be lower ?
We usually spray most gear around 275
Every machine different I suppose

I use whatever comes to hand tbh, on the Ritmo i do prefer the clamps not so much because they last longer but because with the clamp the machine draws less amperage so you get less problems, because im always spraying different materials its hard to put a lifespan on either R&S but i get my moneys worth out of them

450 - 500 sounds a crazy amount of water, at 250 the gear was pretty wet, i'm spraying it again tomorrow and im thinking i'll try it down at 200-220. i'm using a clamp r&s btw.

robbie are you using a 110v or 230v? where you getting your water from? standpipe?, own barrell with pump? outside tap?

Sorry it's been a while pal standpipe pal and ritmo m 110v my water never lower than 490 weber pft Northern said its a lot of water but took it to him last week and he saw it for him self runs mint around 500 water

Was using W, Chalk last week on the Ritmo L 240v. Perfect at 190 water and speed 10. R&S set at 10 bar.

We notice chalk to be a higher water mix when everything g is set perfect on the R/S pump test we have chalk at 300 or slightly over. Most other mono around 200 to 220 ish.
