What do you use for masking windows, soffit, bricks under drip ( on the job I'm pricing iv got around a meter of brickwork under the drip )

I think it's gonna go everywhere until we're used to this spray business

Cheers

Thanks Keith does that roll of window protection stick by itself?

Is that what ud use for covering brickwork at the bottom ?

Hi Jim,

We would recommend the Orange tape which is suitable for Brickwork followed by the Drop Film Masking Tape.

If you wish to talk about the products please give me a call on 01242 236699

Presuming you are using drip beads then use the protection sheet poly that comes with one edge with a built in tape. Stick it to the underside of the drip if you can or use jaffa tape and stick to that. One stop and PFT Northern sells it. I use Jaffa tape (the orange tape) for masking bricks and maybe some additional poly. If the bricks are damp and the tape won't stick then either use a hair dryer or electric paint stripper to dry the bricks and go over the tape to make it more goo-ey. Don't bother the night before because it usually comes off overnight. Might be ok in the middle of summer.

I use the jewson plastic for coving up windows , but use Ryan,s tapes , if i have alot of brick work to cover i use the black sheets from jewson (about £3.00) and nail into the mortar joints
