If u go over 10 mts I would use 3/4" water hose. You could do what you say there no probs with 10mt of hose but I would put the machine on ground floor and just run material hose up

No I haven't.but plenty of Screwfix, Tool Station etc. 2.5mm 3 core flex. B&Q's is white not blue. Want 3 metres.
 
Yesterday we used our Ritmo on a paying job for the first time in over a year and thanks to the retraining given to us by @UKPlasteringmachines it was a totally smooth process without a single glitch.
We were spraying OCR onto an extension and garden wall at a really old cottage where the owner didn't want a straight blemish free finish, we were perfect for the job:RpS_blushing:.

Nice work. How long did it take to do that sort of area with the machine? If you don't mind me asking.
I get that sort of size job quite often.

We are half way through a largish house and have discovered that on concrete blocks we can float all day then set on the hardwall the next day if we give it a light soaking 15 mins before we skim.

Its still **** but makes it more manageable

Ritmo gobbles the hardwall. What water setting u using @essexandy How much was your new water bottle? Was it worth the upgrade?

i sprayed it last week and derby it all flat then used the speedskim to second rule it. it was the bollox
 
I remember posting a vid of that ages ago and everyone slagged me right off!

yeah i did. i ruled it first with the h section so it was pretty flat,then blapped it again with the feather edge then swapped it for the speed skim. it was much nicer to rule wet with it

@Curry we used a new maintenance free rotor/stator so 15 bar and had the water set at 420 as recommended by @Wezly.
I can't remember the cost of the bigger water bottle but it's been money well spent IMO. No more guessing water settings.
I actually think it would be a great idea to have a table put together on here with water settings for different materials. Obviously they wouldn't be gospel but would be handy as a starting point.

I use to keep a log of the water settings, pressure, speed etc after each spray which was handy to look back on when setting up. Then I got lazy and stopped taking notes for

some reason.
 
Why would you change the bottles? What is wrong with the bottle that comes as standard?
