That looks wet on wet but seeing as mono is waterproof and no suction then it might be better than on dry?

Take me it it is the same rules as tyroleaning regarding too wet and run downs.

On start up do you introduce the gun running or point at the wall and turn on?

that job was roughed in sand cement lime.i blapped a skim over it trowelled it down then textured. two passes straight away and then once more over the lot.

Ahh.........Thats a neat idea? I bit of suction background, skim over the background for colour then texture.

Not having a Ritmo yet would you alter the air or speed and nozzle size for texturing? With a Monojet would it need a slow R&S I use a 4-3?

the green float is lighte The float bottle has red markings one side and green on the other. The water is so low when roughcasting its difficult to get a reading on the red side. So you use a green float on the green side. You may not the green markings on your monojet but can still use the green float and mark it by hand

Ah....it's a Ritmo thing. Sounds like if the water is so low then it is a stiff mix rather than the usual wet one. Makes sense.

Went to see Les Lord this morning at PFT Northern after taking my Monojet in for a service. What a light machine that Ritmo is. Breaks down to 3 parts and can be handled by 1 person.

Does anyone use it with water direct off the mains? Maybe if the house is empty so no interruption to the mains pressure?

I stick the water pump on top of the lid on the butt, then run a 10 mt 1/2" hose from the pump to the machine and a 10 mt cable from the ritmo to the butt.
This means you dont have that big butt right next to the machine which is a nuisance of some jobs and you can move the machine about easily aswell without interupting anything.

The suction hose makes life easy aswell. It drops into any water butt or vessel and can be pulled out anytime if you wanna move a machine, no need for any outlets on the bottom and lifting your butt in the air daftnessness :RpS_biggrin:
