Boring old subject I know but I've just been on Ian's website (pft wales) n reading through the machines available etc. the ritmo Xl available so u can switch from 230 to 3 phase so can be used on constructions sites. Why is 3 phase accepted on site over 230. Only asking coz I been thinking of goin down the 110 v route for internals hardwall n mp75 etc just to eliminate any debAte when on site. But if 3 phase is ok I'd sooner just go back with a g4 mostly because I've used on already and once we got over the teething problems thanks to the very patient Stuart at machine plastering uk , we got along with it just fine.

Its a good question. Ive used 3 phase on site with not a murmer off the foreman/agent but as soon as 240v is mentioned its a big no no but roughly half the voltage.

I was , although we have had 3 phase points installed on jobs for us. Only sites that dnt seem to have power are most housing developments for sum reason but then again they are mostly dry lined and skimmed so I wdnt b needing a machine for that
