well on my quest to use 1 trowel only for all February thought id start my removing the excess trowels and shite out of van!!!

OMG...I must have nearly 2 of every hand tool although for some reason 4 different hammers,10 buckets, and put 9 different trowels/floats/scratches into storage.

I think for all my plastering career ive taken every tool to work in the van for the just incase scenario and at some point must have thought I need a spare of every tool just incase 1 brakes!!!

Quite liberating actualy...took every single tool out and just put a bare minimum kit back...

Don't even need a fekinnnn van now!!!!:RpS_thumbsup:

Lots of people drive around with their lives in the back of vans... always good to have a clear out :)

I totally get teh one trowel thing as well... nice going back to basics :)

im thinking about having a clear out and trying to get away with a smaller van sick of spending money on fuel

I drive a Renault kangoo and it's a mobile skip but it all fits in and with the roof rack and a tarp it will hold 12 bags of plaster and 10 8x4 plasterboards

You mean if you put a tarp over top of it it looks like a skip

ditto...always used a tranny but always used to work with another spread so x2 tools plus gear for x2 for the day etc...

I recon now im on my own if I was just to take what I use/need for each day could easily work out of something smaller...

Ive also stop using 8 x 4s as a rule as my backs fekd plus in domestics nightmare getting in houses etc
