Cant believe what I seen last week I was talked into doing some work for someone who recommended me because he was struggling to find spreads any way had to reskim a kitchen out after a rewire so I craked on and finished about 2, 30 just packed everthing away and a painter turned up oh yes he said are you all done yeh so I said what you got to do oh im just going rub the skirting board ready for tomorrow ok I said see you later anyway got a call I need you to do some patching in the bathroom there I for got to tell you f.... ....... I will pay you extra turned around went in the kitchen all walls and lid painted I was like what are you ....... doing the plaster is still wet he said we do it all the time believe me it will be alright he said so jumped in my van and thought thats the last of that **** I should left it rough so he to sand it down while it was still wet :RpS_scared:

Dulux supermatt can be used on damp plaster as it contains no vinyl so its breathable.
Although on fresh plaster just finished same day I dont think I would be painting it that soon.

Yer but there is meant to be a watered down mist coat that soaks in to the plaster. Without it the paint does not adhere correctly and this can't be done when wet

I always wondered what the finish on them sort of shows was like that 60 minute makeover n all that.

There was an episode of cowboy builders where they were doing the reveal at the end. The state of the plastering behind Dom was terrible.
