What do you fellas do when it is raining but you need to mix outside because of space issues. Do you have a pop up gazzebo? or do you mix in the back of your van? Or any other ideas. Thanks

mix up in the van (Toyota Hiace) then I lock the tailgate . When I come out for more my gear hasn't gone walkies. Do this when mixing small amounts of s & c and working round the back of the house.

Mix inside if its a site, new build extension etc wont be such a problem any way,if the house is lived in I usually sheet down with clear plastic comes in 25x4m rolls so it wouldn't be the end of the world to mix the odd bucket on that if needed

Only time i have had a problem i was reskimming a little thing at a back door to a flat with stairs outside etc and i mixed up in the yard as i could litrally only fit a hop up in the room i was doing, i knocked that back for rain . What else can you do ? Lol

Do a lot of damp proofing and living in London means generally difficult to find space to set up a mixer so got a hi top xlwb shitroen relay. I can set the mixer up on its stand in the back, put a tarpaulin under it and out onto the road under my mixing bin with a sheet of ply on top of the back doors to protect from rain.
Saying that, if it rains, I generally knock it on the head and go to the pub instead :RpS_thumbsup:

Word of warning tho. Last van I had was a Fiat Ducato (great vans) but I used a Wickes measuring tape to see if it was high enough to put mixer on the stand in the back. Turns out the measuring tape wasn't very accurate and the mixer wouldn't fit :RpS_blushing:
