Hi mike no not starting up had my own business in Harrogate but due to moving sold.all my moulds and packed in which was a shame as I've won a few awards for appreciate rice of the year, skill build, worshipful company of plaisterers student runner up now an associate for third year of them and **** and princes foundation heritage graduate lol. Now based in Cheshire and was enquiring for a Company I'm on trial with any help would be massively appreciated
 
Lol yeah i know we do but always good if you can grab some if anyone selling as cost of fibreglass ingredients is ridiculous
 
That's the thing unfortunately there only a good investment if people are buying them often enough to try claw your money back for the cost of fibreglass them. Thanks Ryan hope all well with business etc

what type of moulds are you after - cornice, panel, fire surrounds niches or dado
 
Any really puddove as theyre trying to rebuild due to having all the moulds they had broken when eiling collapsed in workshop haha I know shouldn't really put runner up lol did win fmb apprentice of the year too so not too bad :)
 
The house has been put on hold for the past 3 weeks I'm run off me arse with work.
Working 8-3 on site (getting pissed about on site with shirty patch work) then going the workshop of an evening to make stuff for a weekend work.

glad to here you're keeping busy, the down side is having to put your own house on the back burner ----- how close are you to finishing your house

Yeah i live in Warrington now got family here and yeah mad busy only just started they have been working g on Whitworth art gallery nice work you busy
 
Is that in Manchester? Is the contractor cw solutions?
If so u got asked to do that job but turned it down as someone else was already doing the job but suddenly decided they could only do half of the work? So there would be two fibre firms on the job. Sounded a bit dodgy to me. and then oddly enough ended up working on the architects house and he said it was a bit odd like.
 
Yeah its in Manchester at the gallery i dont tni k e it's cw solutions it's isg or so. Enjoy g not to sure as not been on it all I know is that white chapel have done all the running g in situ as none of the other fibrous could do it lol
 
Ah, yeah ISG is the main contractor and CW solutions where the subby who got me in,
asked me to do the run in-situ but said i could pre cast the cores off site and then run over it which seemed very odd to me since heritage was involved. Said they had someone else to do the window surrounds and a few other bits, sounded pretty messy if you ask me so i swerved that one.

How long you been in the fibrous game mate?

unfortunatly i dont have 3 years! got till march when the baby is due
 
Hi mike been plastering over ten years damp proofing etc using lime and then when i went to college sort of learnt the basis s did skill build competitions and won which gave me some. Confidence still a lot to learn but all in all about 4 years congrats on baby I've got 5 and I'm 26 lol
 
Haha what the wife or me lol yeah 3 are mine wife got two previous but may as well be mine lol keeps me busy
 
Bet it does mate!
If u go slack at where u are now mate just give us a shout might have the odd days here and there.
