Just plastered out dormer bungalow, tiler comes in, 2 days work to do all downstairs, charges 1900 qwd, no supply... Jeez, he done 27£ sqm, for cash. Said he often earns 1k a day on site! How come there prices not been slashed so they dont earn too much?

Day 1. Seems a nice trowel, needs breaking in a bit... Day 2. Getting there, nearly broken in, troweling up nice.. Day 3. Dropped the trowel...feked.

How to get this wall paper off? Like varnish...labs going to get belt sander on it, just wonder if any other way...

Anyone use them, ive recently worked on jobs where I can plaster the ceilings off the deck, peace of piss then trowling up , walking along... Used to work with people over the years who used them, but didn't bother in the end...

Any one tried this... I've give it a go and it's almost unusable to apply the lime putty over existing lime. This is what i was given to use..

Just wondering if anyone has added fibres to bonding for extra strength... I chopped off old bonding today and it appeared to have fibres in it... Will try send picture of what I'm putting it on...

Any one added fibres to bonding to give it a bit more strength? Chopped of some old bonding today that appeared to have fibres in it..dusty stuff! Gotta re do tomorrow, would adding fibres give it extra strength?
